By accessing and using Yearlify ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

Yearlify is a free online tool for creating monthly photo recaps and year collages. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

2. Description of Service

Yearlify provides a browser-based photo studio. Key features include:

• Drag-and-drop photo placement for each month of the year
• Photo editing, including resizing, rotation, filters, and captions
• Download a month or whole year as PNG, JPG, or PDF
• Save and load project files for later editing
• Share an image with another app on supported devices

Photo processing occurs locally in your browser. Yearlify does not upload your photos to its servers.

3. User Responsibilities

When using Yearlify, you agree to:

• Own or have rights to your content: You must have the legal right to use any photos you add to your calendar. This includes ownership, licensing, or permission from the copyright holder.
• Respect others' privacy: If your photos include other people, ensure you have their consent to use and share those images.
• Not create harmful content: Do not use the Service to create calendars containing illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content.
• Not misuse the Service: Do not attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to our Service or related systems.

4. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all photos and content you use with Yearlify. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Our Service

The Yearlify name, logo, website design, and underlying code are subject to applicable intellectual property rights. Reuse is subject to any applicable license or permission from the rights holder.

5. Free Service & Advertising

Yearlify is provided free of charge. To support the ongoing development and maintenance of the Service, we display advertisements through Google AdSense. By using the Service, you agree to the display of these advertisements.

Creating, editing, themes, and downloads are free, with no account required. Exports include a small yearlify.com credit. Printing through a service you choose is separate from Yearlify.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
• The quality of the Service will meet your expectations
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YEARLIFY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data or content
• Loss of profits or revenue
• Damage to your device or software
• Any other losses resulting from your use of the Service

Since all processing occurs locally on your device, you are responsible for backing up any important project files.
